This unique blotter is a special mixed-size edition of the iconic “Bicycle Ride 1943” design, which honors the legendary consciousness-expanding journey of Dr. Albert Hofmann. What sets this sheet apart is the deliberate combination of both large and small versions of the classic artwork, creating a visually engaging and collectible variant.
The artwork remains consistent with the original symbolism: a jubilant figure riding a bicycle beneath a surreal sky filled with mountains, stars, a crescent moon, and a smiling sun. The number “1943” refers to the year of Hofmann’s groundbreaking self-experiment, and the star marked with “25” is a direct reference to the compound’s lab code.
This combo blotter is often appreciated for its creative twist on a psychedelic classic. It’s favored by collectors for its artistic layout, which pays homage to one of the most pivotal moments in countercultural history, while offering a fun, remix-style format.

Materials

Printed and perforated blotter paper.

The blotter is made of 180 g/m2 matt white paper.

The black cardstock is made of 220 g/m2 paper.

Packings

Simple packing: The blotter is placed into a BOPP celophane sleeve with hanging hole.

Delux packing: The blotter is mounted onto an A4-sized black photo board using transparent photo corner stickers and placed into a BOPP celophane sleeve with hanging hole.

Shipping

Blotters are shipped in envelopes with two protective cardboard stiffeners. Larger orders are shipped in rigid cardboard envelopes or boxes.
